April Market

As you might know form my facebook page spamming, I have had a stall at my favourite market on Saturday. That would be the Out Of The Blue Drill Hall market ;) It just seems to be one that I always do. And I like it :) The location is great and they are normally pretty busy, full of lovely things.

So as per usual I took some snaps of my stall. They probably don't look overall that different, but you can spot some new things (that will make their way to etsy sometime soon.

For one, there is a few bits and bobs of assembled rainy jewellery....

And a preview of the one I have been REALLY excited about - the origami line! There are brooches, earring and necklaces... Again, they will make their way to etsy soon but if you are dying for one drop me a line :)

Otherwise, I can't believe it's already April... Been really REALLY busy lately! And it's only 8 months till my favourite time of the year... Christmas :) Haha, yes, I am a little bit crazy there probably... I am also really looking forward to summer. I have some holidays booked-ish, but I will not say anymore until it's a bit closer :)

December! Photo time! :)

I confess - I have been a bad egg. I did not update blog much over past 2 weeks... Reason? I was SUPERCHRISTMASBUSY! (Also got a cold on the way, your typical excuses all the way!). For that I shall make it up to everyone and publish some action shots. In that time I did 3 markets, here's some shots from Noir! the Christmas Fair:

This is the fabulous Fi of Fiona Heather with David Anderson (who took the following picture:)

...of me and the Fi!

Something amazing has also happened. The elusive Christmas Jumper Cat Christmas Jumper came to life!

(there is still one available and if you are in UK you can get i on time for Christmas!)

Stall at Out of the Blue! And a preview of what's to come :)

Hello! Yesterday I had a stall at an art market at Out Of the Blue in Leith in Edinburgh. I have worked my bum off all week to finish off all the new things for the show :) You can admire them (and also my most handsome little helper - Karen-Anna of Arga Ankan) on the above picture :) You can play "spot a new item", as a lot of these I am photographing (like, right now) to put up on Etsy ASAP!! :)

Out of the Blue Arts Market!

Yesterday I shared a stall at Out of the Blue Arts Market with Claire Macleod. It was really good fun, as she's a lovely lady and it was just generally quite a successful day! Will afford to get a Christmas present for the boyfriend ;)

I said goodbye (among other things) to two paintings. One was the Wolf Hat and other one I haven't published here yet, so there it is:

Morningside Makers Market

This month I had a stall at Morningside Makers Market. It was the very first time I did anything like that (I mean, I has been on stalls, just never had one with only my stuff on it!).

I was selling cards, prints, canvas bags and some original work. Overall it was a great experience, but I think I have learned a lot too. I'm glad that at least my stall didn't look empty (thanks to advice of Carmen of Craft Reactor :) )

If you didn't make it but are dying to buy my work, some of it will be available on my Etsy store :P

Here's a couple of pictures:

Special Great Thanks go to:
  • Laura D., for spending 4 hours with me cutting cardboard, putting stuff in polypockets and doing other highly uninteresting things
  • Riennahera, for spending even more hours with me at the stall keeping me company (and looking after it when I did a home-run caused by me forgetting my business cards
